Consistency is a universally recognized value. The origin of the word itself indicates a strong link with the fundamental principles: in a volatile market like that of the wellness sector, consistency in strategic analysis and in precise strategic planning acts as the fixed point in a perpetually changing context. The PI.CO Profit Certificate was created to guarantee the adhesion of wellness center development projects to the principles indicated by the PI.CO Wellness PROFIT DESIGN operational methodology.
Based on the Profit Spa Design principles, one must contemplate "profit" before contemplating the design of Center itself, or rather one must "think before acting". The reason is simple: by building a Center and then worrying about all of the internal and external variables, one runs the risk of creating a true White Elephant, or rather an unprofitable investment that is likely to remain just that.
For this reason, every type of PI.CO Wellness consultation begins with a strategic check-up, a diagnostic tool for analyzing a Center's commercial competitiveness, its economic-financial and risk profile and the skills of its human resources.
The result is also synthesized by means of a SWOT analysis, a synoptic document that identifies strengths and weaknesses, as well as opportunities and potential risks. The SWOT analysis also leads to the shaping of business strategies from which project data will derive, to which the architectural designer must also adhere while maintaining his/her complete freedom for the creative design of the Center. The PI.CO Profit Certificate is therefore the document that certifies that the Center's design adheres completely, or with an acceptable rate of differentiation, to the strategic indications given by the model generated from the PI.CO analysis and is consistent with the full development of the strategies for which the structure itself was created. In a nutshell, it certifies:
Every Center that has taken advantage of PI.CO Wellness consulting obtains the certificate by means of a check-up, which verifies the Center's respect for the management and productivity standards. In the latter case, this is intended as adherence to the standards of profitability and functionality, as well as meeting the needs of the reference target, according to that which is described in the "Service Mix" and "Construction Costs" tables, which in turn have a multitude of variables.
These Centers, therefore, can interpret the PI.CO Profit Certificate as a sure indication of being structurally and strategically adapted to successfully compete within the wellness market. But the PI.CO Profit Certificate can also be requested on behalf of any structure which has never before taken advantage of PI.CO Wellness consulting and is unable to render itself profitable: in this case, the check-up will probably highlight certain differences that are not significant enough to suggest a "clean slate" intervention, or rather the total redesign of the Center based on the PI.CO Wellness methodology. In certain cases, a partial redistribution of the spaces and the main functions may suffice, with effective organizational and commercial re-engineering. Because, even in cases where we have acted before thinking, it's never too late to put things right.
